𝗞𝗹𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗲𝗻The Klausgraben is crossed between the "hunter's path" and the "poacher's path". A bench invites you to rest.(Willrich's grove)
Water flowed from dark springs and bleak stood,
without art and roughly hewn from wood,
idols there,
ghostly decayed.

In the Klausgraben below the Klausfelsen, a solitary 28 meter high stone giant, also known as Naheloreley, a monster is said to have been up to mischief that could only be appeased to some extent with an annual sacrifice. A courageous farmer named Klaus has obviously successfully faced this challenge.
