Hiking
The Market Square was built in the 14th century. Here all important events took place and the town hall, the Cloth Hall and guild houses were located. During WWI, the city center and the southern row of houses on the Grote Markt were completely destroyed. These were later rebuilt in the Flemish Renaissance style.
