Pritzen was actually supposed to be excavated, but then came the turning point and the end of the open pit.
Let's see how it will be at the lake and with splashing.

The town of Pritzen was first mentioned in documents in 1495. The Pritzen municipality included the districts of Nebendorf and Neudorf, which were demolished to make way for the Greifenhain open-cast mine. Because the former connecting road between the town of Altdöbern and the village of Pritzen was demolished by the brown coal open-cast mine, the road in Pritzen ends in a dead end. With the flooding of the Altdöberner See in the former open-cast mine, Pritzen is now located on a peninsula in the lake.
