Altdöbern Village Church

A visit to the beautiful church is possible as part of the park festival and during church services on Sunday from 10 a.m. and when the church is open. Kestrels nest in the tower of the church. On the church grounds are the graves of well-known Altdöbern personalities, who also left their traces and influences on the Altdöbern Castle.

The church was built in neo-baroque style after the predecessor building was destroyed by arson in 1914.

Directly opposite is Altdöbern Castle. Unfortunately, the interior can only be visited during events, but a visit is definitely worth it. If you're lucky, you'll meet the manager, who will happily share his impressive knowledge of the castle's history. The huge castle garden with its impressive lake invites you to take a long walk and that alone is worth the visit.
