The gap closure is now finally complete, along the official route: From Herrenteichswall on the left side (!) of Erich-Remarque-Ring to Pernickelmühle, over the weir into Mühlenstr., cross Hasestr. into Vitihof, cross Wallring, into Stüvestr. and then take the new Hasebrücke bridge on the right and then keep left, opposite the “Herr von Butterkeks” café, you reach the existing gap closure.
This means that the Altstadtbf., the dangerous Hasetor intersection and the cobblestones of Turnerstr. are no longer on the route.
