Osnabrück Cathedral is one of the city's sights. The first church on this site was built in 785, the cathedral in its present form gradually developed from about 1100. At this point to describe all works of art, characters and peculiarities, would be completely presumptuous, but there is enough literature on the writings. In any case: bring some time to visit this impressive structure. Bicycles can be connected well outside, for groups there are restaurants nearby, so that the one who is ready, can wait ... :-)

Opposite the large entrance portal of the cathedral is a true-to-scale bronze model of the old town of Osnabrück, created by the sculptor Egbert Broerken. Small dots in Braille provide necessary explanations about town houses, churches, streets and squares. In this way, the visually impaired can literally feel, experience and understand their city.
