Today now the complete Haseuferweg (with a strong headwind from the northwest ..., but also very worthwhile!). Easy to drive on, some sections are narrow "pättkes", but most of them are spacious and the gaps are closed.
I did not mark the whole tour as a highlight section because individual sections of the route have already been marked as such by fans.
The hare has been renatured in the Schinkel district. The way through the city leads partly over elevated concrete stretches and has a short pedestrian zone. At Sandforther Str. And on Kiefernweg it is a few 100 m over the autostraße. The end in Eversburg is not quite clear to me yet, maybe you can continue along the Hase to the Hollager lock.
Komoot or a map are absolutely necessary for the tour because there are gaps in the signage.

Now I've got to know the entire length of the Haseuferweg in parts. A worthwhile and easy tour to drive across Osnabrück and the city.
The way back via Mindener and Sandforter Str. Was not so hard, but I had to go home somehow ... There are certainly even nicer stretches there.

After the western and eastern halves, now the northern part including the very worthwhile Nettetal from Haste to Haseuferweg (instead of Gut Honeburg and Eversburg with the industrial museum). The ascent from the garden to the Dodesheide is quite arduous (highest point: crossing the Vehrter Landstrasse). But it's pretty narrow, steep and winding “Im Hollen” down into the Nettetal. (If the route is reversed, you would probably have to push here.) Unfortunately, I missed the "Östringer stones" ... The route runs over the Netter Klosterhof, so don't worry about the narrow entrance! As I said, the path from Haste an der Nette is very nice. The Hansastr. The best way to cross is on the normal crossings to the busy Römereschweg, until you can turn left again on the Kiefernweg into the Haseuferweg in the direction of the city.

Very arduous ascent from the Hase in Lüstringen to Gretesch with beautiful views of the landscape. The signs for the official round tour are patchy, especially in the new development areas, and can only be found correctly with a komoot navigation system. The second ascent to the Schinkelberg is not that steep. Here my GPS was a little off the track ... (Daumeyersweg, Nordstr.) Small consolation for the inclines: It is always relaxing downhill. I left the round trip route on the "Radschnellweg Belm-Osnabrück" along the OS-HB railway line on Haster Weg in the direction of the city. The tour in the opposite direction would require some dismounting and pushing on the inclines. However, the descents would then be longer. I found this eastern part of the Osnabrück circular route to be quite difficult with an average constitution.
