Continuation or outward journey to the Dümmer round trip. In Dielingen, the last inn has just closed, and the baker had lunch break ... The official Radwegebeschilderung stopped short of the border, but there was another sign system. Last section unfortunately on the highway. Bike path only from Lower Saxony.

Nice and easy tour. From the western shore, you can only see something of the Dumber at the Olga harbor. But then a lot. Tourist catering at the ports of Lembruch and Hüde. There also sandy beaches for swimming, if it is released. In the hot August 2018, however, the green algae attack was opposed.
End of the tour at Ochsenmoor, return to Bohmte via Dielingen (see separate route).

Pilgrims with the goal of Altötting and the sleeping place Neuötting need not go on the road, but can use a beautiful hiking trail on Mühlbach and Mörnbach along. If you do not want to see so much Baroque, visit the late Gothic city church of St. Nicholas in Neuötting!

Exhausting tour, more suitable for MTB ...;) The channel diverge path is very roughly graveled and shakes properly! Recommended are paved roads, the z.T. run in parallel. The passable Hasedeich behind Bramsche is softer, but because of his (mowed) vegetation also drives quite hard. The driveway to the Alfsee is paved, but has so many cross cracks that the spine must be in top shape here as well. This is compensated by the Alfsee dyke, which is easy to drive around. The way back over the interesting cultural heritage former Kommende Lage-Rieste and former monastery Malgarten then went mostly on the official bike paths and was therefore quite restful. Unfortunately, St. Martin in Bramsche was closed, a "no go" if you want to score culturally and with tourists. Conclusion: Maybe a stretch from the lock Haste more along the hare to Bramsche better to drive. Otherwise nice destinations and stopovers.

Average condition required, and for the hiking trail A6 and the descent from Beutling fixed hiking boots! GPS is helpful for the forest roads. Starting point Parking behind the "Haus des Gastes" (Eichendorffstr.). The Schützenstr. along to Pushkental. Since I arrived relatively quickly at the trail parking lot, I have the original. Planning extended to the "hiking trail A6". Only the Almaquelle leads the hare appreciable amounts of water. The actual Hasequelle is designed with a very nice rest area. From here a short walk "Schauinsland-Weg" to the highlight, the Beutling with lookout tower. Endpoint visit with prayer in the Bartholomäuskirche and hiking reward in Uschi's ice cream parlor.

Very worthwhile, because interesting and varied round trip from the bus stop or parking industrial museum! Average to good condition required. For the 1st third to pump house Stüve shaft is advisable: Fixed hiking boots and GPS! The path is a trampling and Kraxelpfad and not marked. At the crossroads you can only guess where and how it goes on. It is not recommended to walk on wet ground. From the pump house Stüveschacht (parking available) begins the more comfortable and well signposted Terra Vita trail. There are no trash bins or wastepaper baskets on the three viewing platforms, which is very obvious. The detour to the north platform and to the Johannissteinen / Pingen should not be missed. I did not find the sequoia, it is quite off the trail. On the way to the three large wind turbines are some stairs to climb, but can be bypassed. The descent from Piesberg is also done by stairs. The last part can be covered on weekends from April to October with the Feldbahn (half-hourly clock). The industrial museum is worth a visit. There is no catering on Rundweg, the "Piesberger Gesellschaftshaus" [piesberger-gesellschaftshaus.de] at the colliery station (not Feldbahnhof) is within reach (Sundays).

Starting point parking lot "Am Hafen". Interesting lock operation with many information boards to the history of the channel and the landscape. The peat bog lake is a very well maintained public. Investment. Bathing almost allowed on the entire shore (swimwear compulsion). Non-swimmers bay with kiosk. Sailing school (with children's program). On the way tree nature trail, rock trail and trim tips. Barbecue hut. After leaving the lake entrance into the mountain part of the Hermannsweg with first altitude meters. Stay on the way. The viewpoints have grown over. The witch's den is more of a collapsed rock segment over which the trail passes. At the waypoint 12, go down the stairs to the Mittellandkanal. Unfortunately, the Gastwirtschaft Am Nassen Dreieck [am-nassen-dreieck.de] only conjures up exquisite fish dishes on weekends, with coffee and cakes all the time. Beautiful conclusion of an approximately three-hour hike (or longer depending on staying at the lock or on Torfmoorsee).
