Peace and relaxation at the foot of the castle

The Old Waterworks is the ideal place to forget everyday life.

The old historic building of the Old Waterworks was lovingly converted into a guest house - you are guaranteed to feel in good hands here.

Friendly, inviting rooms create an atmosphere. In addition to the light-flooded breakfast room, there is a lounge and TV room with a small library that invites you to linger.

To make your stay at the Altes Wasserwerk as pleasant as possible, all rooms, apartments and holiday apartments are modern and comfortably furnished. They include LED TV and free WiFi in all areas. They are also each equipped with their own bathroom/toilet and shower.

All rooms and some rooms are wheelchair accessible. Directly at the house is our well-kept garden, which encourages sunbathing.

Not just the old water tower: the Westerberger tower got a “sister” in the 1970s.
The era of Osnabrück's oldest water reservoir ended in 2007: During inspections, germs were repeatedly discovered in the water, which could not be contained even with renovation measures. The same phenomenon was also evident in the sister store. Both elevated tanks were shut down.
