Celtic inspired Peace Tower.

A symbolic tower with a special appearance and a park dedicated to the reconciliation of Ireland.
Note the floor in the tower in which Ireland was engraved without dividing lines. This site today reminds us of the military operations of Irish Divisions, who went into battle together, without a political background. Side by side they went into battle, the Catholic 16th Irish Division and the Protestant 36 Ulster Division, for our freedom. The 3 memorial posts in the park today refer to the almost 70,000 Irish soldiers who died or were missing during the Great War.
Unfortunately, the tower cannot be climbed. There is no visitor's staircase.
Time to spare? The New Zealand Memorial Park is located a stone's throw (200 meters). Take the narrow footpath behind the tower through the cow pasture and you will arrive at one of the 2 German bunkers located in the Park - NZ memorial Mesen.
