A beautiful viewpoint on a very nice trail. However, a clear view is a prerequisite. This time we were unlucky due to a cloudy view. The firm intention to do this trail again, with an extensive photo stop at this viewpoint, has been noted.

The Venster (Afrikaans for "window") in the shape of the Indian continent is an amazing viewpoint looking towards Devils Peak. To get there you must walk to the left of the path about 3 quarters of the way to the top.

"Extremely dangerous route". This is fine in good weather, but nothing for people with a fear of heights. It's an adventure to climb up there. You can no longer call it hiking. And always follow the yellow footsteps that are painted on the rocks. Every now and then you run the wrong way and it is better to turn around before the supposed path ends on the steep slope. Climbing down is probably a little more difficult and so there is a corresponding warning at the top. Under no circumstances should you make the trail in wet conditions, strong winds and clouds. Before you can get to Table Mountain, you first have to go around half of it and then take the almost flat "Autobahn" to the mountain station when climbing Platteklip Gorge.
