Theobald Theodor Friedrich Alfred von Bethmann Hollweg (born November 29, 1856 in Hohenfinow, Brandenburg Province, † January 2, 1921 ibid) was a German politician during the time of the German Empire. His career began as an administrative officer and culminated in his term as Chancellor from 1909 to 1917.

Next to the village green in front of the transept (half-timbered house) north of the church is the monument to Theobald von Bethmann Hollweg, who was born in Hohenfinow in 1856 and was German Chancellor from 1909 to 1917. He represented liberal views and tried to strike a balance between social democrats and conservatives. He died of acute pneumonia in his birthplace in January 1921 and is buried in the Hohenfinow cemetery.
