The Nike fire position in Oedingen was a 16.08 hectare anti-aircraft missile position of the Federal Air Force during the Cold War. As part of NATO's nuclear participation, tactical US nuclear warheads would have been mounted on the missiles in an emergency, which were kept ready in halls on the site of the launch site. As part of the so-called Nike belt, the position belonged to NATO's air defense and was located near Lennestadt-Oedingen in the Olpe district.
