The Waldenburg chapel has been restored so beautifully.

You can find little details about Attendorn everywhere.

      Very pretty.

Thanks for the tip @🌲 Marion SD 🌲

Since we've been there before, we're still up the hill to the ruins. Here you have a beautiful view of the Biggedamm and you can even see the light from the lighthouse.

    1. Today we finally made it....!

We are "almost" once around the Biggesee.

There was a lot going on today. Who is surprised with this beautiful weather.

    1. Today we finally did a tour in the Hochsauerland to the Olsberg summit.

And best of all, this time we had our friends with us and finally the kids

We parked on the street at the entrance to the town. From there we walked a bit through a residential area until we finally arrived in the forest.

    1. Our kids didn't feel like doing anything today, so my husband and I just drove off.

We started in the forest and drove down onto the cycle path in the direction of Fretter. (old rails). There are small benches everywhere, some of them covered.

Then through the bat tunnel (brrr...cold) via Eslohe, where

    1. Today my husband and I were traveling alone 🤗

We had a really good time. Arrived in special. , we were plagued by hunger. So we stopped and indulged ourselves with a beer and good food. Back we made a detour to good friends 🥰

The Bigge is shockingly empty and the Lenne even more so🥹 it should start raining properly!!

    1. Today we were on the so-called Heidi Alm.

There are small cottages here and the area is very well suited to family vacations. There are a few small goats that can be fed (with grass, of course).

But to be honest, we don't know why it's called Heidi Alm here.😅

We imagine a Heidi Alm a bit different.

I personally really liked this gorge. This time it was more about solid, rocky and rooted forest floor along the water.

      Impressive waterfalls could be seen.

You could also take dogs here and this gorge is also easy to manage with small children.

At the end of the gorge we had to

    1. A very beautiful and interesting gorge. You walk the whole time over stable wooden walkways.

What I personally liked was that you couldn't see through it. So I managed to bravely walk through the gorge almost without a heart attack 😂😇. Some corners were very tight and we had to duck.
