Today the Rinsleyfelsen above Saalhausen was conquered with the children. The forest adventure trail and the rock were great! Unfortunately, in the second half of the hike, the paths were partly completely muddy due to forest work. Unfortunately, this phenomenon will haunt us in the Sauerland for some time.

After the Homert was hiked as the first mountain of the High5, today it was the turn of the Himberg with its 688 meters. With this height it is the highest mountain in the Saalhauser Mountains.
The start and finish of the tour was above Halberbracht at the hiking car park on Weißenstein. The hike often went over natural paths and trails, which was particularly fun. The proportion of tarred sections and forest highways was quite low.
A nice tour that was really worth it in the golden October weather.

Today we went to Homert in the best weather. The first third was characterized by beautiful deciduous forests, the second third was through mixed forest. The last third was unfortunately a large spruce cemetery. A lot of felled wood but also enough infested spruce trees in the forest or what is left of it.
The tour was easy to go, from forest highways, paths and simply across the valley, everything was there, so it was quite varied. All in all it was a really nice and varied tour!

The tour started and ended at the parking lot of the Elsper sports field. During the ups and downs typical of the Sauerland, the villages of Elspe, Hachen, Halberbracht, Meggen and Theten were touched. The views and the route were super nice. The asphalt content was a bit too high for my taste. Otherwise great!
If you want to stop by, you can do so in the ski hut in Halberbracht. All you have to do is change the route slightly. In Elspe you could stop at the Gasthof Hester at the end of the tour not far from the start / end point. The respective opening times can be viewed on the Internet.

Actually (this word usually starts with excuses or excuses!) A nice away tour with a lot of kilometers and altitude was planned for today. Since the relatives came up yesterday as part of the daughter's birthday party, it was clear early on that the planned tour was nothing. It was decided quite spontaneously to increase the per capita consumption of German citizens drinking beer. Said and done!
The physical condition only allowed the small tour in front of the front door today. In this sense, have a nice Sunday! ✌

Today a little round on the local mountain to start the weekend! At Komoot for the second time, but what feels like the hundredth time!
In the first third I wanted to go one of the older ways, unfortunately it was completely overgrown with blackberry bushes, etc., so it made no sense and I had to go the "normal" way. As always, the views were wonderful! Stop home! Always beautiful!
The start was at the small hiking car park above the Elsper industrial area. The highlights are the Wallburg tower and the panorama bench! From here you have the best views you could wish for!
