Tips
The Kückelheimer Fledermaustunnel welcomes the approaching cyclist from a distance with his cold breath. Even in midsummer temperatures, it is refreshingly bold in the tunnel and it drips in many places. A real highlight on the Sauerland Radring.
Important: over the winter months, the tunnel is closed so as not to disturb the hibernation of the eponymous bats. A bypass is signposted.
