Information:
Part of the former city fortifications. The bastion was built to protect the gate and remained standing after the gate's demolition in 1834. Together with the Kaisertrutz and the Nikolai Tower, the Oxen Bastion is one of the most noteworthy remnants of Görlitz's city fortifications.
