The Mühlauhafen is part of the Mannheim harbor. At its end, where the Neckar flows into the Rhine, is the Neckarspitze.
From here you have a good overview of the Rhine and the industrial facilities of BASF on the left bank of the Rhine.
On the right side is the western, still undeveloped part of the Friesenheimer Insel. It was declared a landscape protection area in 1979.
