The bridge is listed as a cultural monument by the Hamburg Ministry of Culture and Media under number 19588.
The name of the girder bridge, built in 1905, comes from the street Klosterallee,
which crosses the Isebek Canal and ends immediately on the other side at Lehmweg.
Many street names in this district recall the former monastery in Harvestehude.
