If you want to cycle along the German Baltic Sea coast, you should actually visit this place. Because here, at this boundary stone, it begins. With the wooden bridge, the boats in the harbor and the waterfowl on the nearby shore, it is also a nice place to take a break.

Almost inconspicuous and hidden by the reeds, the Schusterkate border crossing is in the form of a bridge that leads over the Kruså and thus connects Germany and Denmark. Apart from the fact that it is beautiful to look at, another special feature is that this is the smallest border crossing in Europe and its bridge is the only one that connects Denmark and Germany.
