The smallest community in Kitzbühel is in the Pillerseetal: St. Jakob in Haus. As of 2021, there are almost 800 people living in the entire municipality. There is no real town center next to the church, St. Jakob consists of several hamlets. This quiet corner of the world has been inhabited for a very, very long time. People lived here back in the 10th century.
