The current Badalona wharf was built in 1965 for the unloading of oil products from tankers. It was used as an unloading wharf until 1990. It is a 235 m long concrete structure, with a height of 6 m, ending in a 100 m² unloading platform, supported by 16 groups of metal pylons located every 15 m. The bridge consists of two T-shaped concrete beams joined together. The beams are placed on transverse concrete loaders supported by the pylons. The transversal loading heads have a width of 3.20 m, larger than the beams because they also supported the hydrocarbon pipes that reached the refinery.

It's one of Badalona's symbols, but access can sometimes be closed. It's well worth a visit.
