Iberian Site of Les Maleses

The Iberian town of les Maleses is a site located at the top of les Maleses, in the Marina mountain range, with an area of 2,000 m2. The visit to the excavation reveals the old stone, clay and wooden houses where the Layetans lived, as well as a large number of ceramic materials.

The Iberian town of Les Maleses is located at the top of the hill that bears the same name. This summit, at the same time, serves as the municipal boundary between the municipalities of Moncada and Reixach and San Fausto de Campcentellas.

It is an elevation of 462 m in the Sierra de Marina, from where you can visually dominate the entire Vallés, part of Barcelona and part of Maresme. It also has good visibility over the Montseny, Montserrat and Pre-Pyrenees massifs.

To do this route I recommend firm step hiking boots and water.
