The Cathedral of San Giorgio is one of the examples of Sicilian Baroque. Designed by the architect Rosario Gagliardi. Its majestic facade, soaring towards the sky, is characterized by columns, sculptures and an imposing dome built in the 19th century. The interior, with three naves, houses precious works of art, including paintings and frescoes of great value.

The Cathedral of San Giorgio is a baroque church in Ragusa Ibla. Construction began in 1738 and ended in 1775.
Ragusa is one of the late baroque towns of the Val di Noto and a World Heritage Site.
