Hiking
The "Marie", the passenger ship of the Bürgerpark, hibernates in the pretty boathouse on Meiereisee. There were boat tours in the Bürgerpark as early as 1891 - two excursion boats ("Meierei" and "Marie") regularly commuted between Emmasee and Meiereisee. Both boats were lost in World War II. A new "Marie" was only launched in 2013 thanks to donations and sponsors.
