The Gouverneto Monastery is lovingly cared for by the monks who live there. Compared to Agia Triada, it is not quite as spruced up, but it is also worth a visit. In season you can visit it from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The monastery is closed to visitors on Wednesdays and Fridays.
