The cemetery is located above Chania and is very nice to walk around on a circular path. The paths are gravel or laid out with large cobblestones. The old stock of trees, a small Greek-Orthodox church, as well as statues and busts complete the picture. You can drive on the square up to the vantage point, from there you can continue on foot.

Memorial to the Cretan freedom fighter and later Greek Prime Minister Eleftherios Venizelos (Ελευθέριος Βενιζέλος, 1864-1936) and his son. Great viewing platform above Chaniá. Two or three very nice restaurants with sunset views in the area.
