Hiking
The Leitstade forest station is a small (smoke-free!) Station that does not require a concourse or waiting room and is located in the middle of the forest in northern Germany's largest mixed forest - the Göhrde state forest. This is where the “Wendlandbahn” stops, which commutes between Lüneburg and Dannenberg every three hours.

Running
Anyone who gets off the train here from the direction of Lüneburg or Dannenberg Ost has many great opportunities to let off steam in the fresh air.
