The Göhrde is a beautiful and large forest area (largest contiguous mixed forest area in Northern Germany), in the districts of Lüchow-Dannenberg and Lüneburg. Very quiet forest with many hiking trails. I am here often and with pleasure, on foot or by bike. Now in autumn the Göhrde is particularly beautiful again. The Breeser Grund is also very beautiful, an old hut forest with heathland, which is hidden quite deep in the Göhrde, a really magical place. You can also admire many large, old giant trees in the Göhrde.
