Tips
A nice road to cycle from Zernien to Metzingen. Much nicer than the route from Pudripp to Metzingen (especially there are far fewer cars here). However, the route is very hilly, there are some uphill and downhill slopes, which is a lot of fun, e.g. with the e-bike.
The route leads through the villages of Riebrau, Zienitz (forestry), Kollase and Schmessau. Most of the road leads through the forest (Staatsforst Göhrde). Since this is a continuously paved road, the route can also be easily ridden by racing bike. There are a few bumpy spots, but on the whole you can drive here very well.
