    Corrour Station lies at the foot of Leum Uilleim and Beinn a‘ Bhric in a picturesque landscape. The train station is - despite its remoteness - a popular start for outdoor activities. There is a restaurant with hot meals and delicious cakes, snacks and souvenirs. It also offers free WiFi.

      The station, known from the film Trainspotting, is one of the smallest and most remote stations in Europe and is served by the railway line from Fort William, among others. In the station building there is a restaurant which offers hot and cold drinks, delicious cakes and hot snacks.

        This is a gorgeous little station in the middle of literally nowhere, famous for the one used in the trainspotting film. There are only 4 staff working on site and they are welcoming and warm, I would truly recommend a journey here for a spot of lunch or even a stay in the signal box.

          This little station is a delight, with great food and staff to look after you. We were treated to this lovely steam engine making an unexpected stop, the 45212 little seen on the tracks. Just topped off a magical day in the highlands.

            Corrour is the highest station on the UK rail network. It cannot be reached by public road. It is an excellent starting point for walking trips up the Loch Ossian Munros or to the more distant Ben Alder or Beinn Eibhinn Munros. Another great destination is the Corbett Leum Uilleim to the west. The station now has a very attractive cafe.
