The Waldhotel Zollernblick - formerly Stokinger- is one of the time-honored houses that began their "career" as a grand hotel in the Freudenstadt hotel scene at the turn of the century. The hotel has actually managed to survive the decades with the help of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation and recently the Universities of Tübingen, Karlsruhe and Stuttgart to start a second career in full splendor and elegance. In 2018 the Waldhotel Zollernblick will enter a new era guided.

After Steffen Schillinger - Junghotelier and entrepreneur from Lauterbad (see also mountain lodge Lauterbad) - had bought the venerable building in the summer of 2016, this is now with the vision urban soul meets black forest converted into a cuddly hotel with urban lifestyle.

The listed building remains intact in the facade and the adjoining building gives way to a new design hotel with 49 rooms, 1,000 square meters of spa area including panoramic saunas and a 18x6 meter outdoor infinity pool. Also features
