"... The Nobilistanne - the all-rounder Christmas tree

The Nobilistanne (Abies nobilis) is one of the most robust Christmas trees. So far, the Nobilistanne is considered a lover tree and is rather unknown, but their many advantages convince. Due to its long durability and needle strength, the Nobilistanne is very popular as a Christmas tree, but also as a cut green among connoisseurs. The sturdy branches keep heavy Christmas tree decorations well and make the fir very stable.

If the slightly irregular growth of the Nobilistanne does not bother you, you can set up this tree perfectly indoors and even plant a pot bought in a pot after the party even in the garden.

    Description of the Nobilistanne

Better known is the Nobilistanne under the name Edeltanne or silver fir.

A Nobilistanne can become up to 80 meters high and 800 years old in her native country, in the western mountains of North America. Column-like trunks and a conical tree crown characterize the Nobilistanne. Partly the growth is somewhat irregular, because the distance between the branches is loose, but this does not limit the beauty of the tree.

Very soft, rounded needles that last four weeks and longer are characteristic of the Nobilistanne. The 25-35 millimeter needles are gray-green in color, grow very densely and are bent upwards. There are two white stripes on the underside of the needles.

    The Nobilistanne - Overview

The variety Abies nobilis, or even Nobilistanne, was imported from North America to Europe in the 18th century. The fir prefers a temperate climate, but is well preserved even in warm rooms.

The soft, whitish wood of the tree is the highest quality of all North American fir species. For this reason, it is much used as construction or construction timber.

Overall, the Nobilistanne is a very beautiful tree, which is not only suitable for lovers. If you want to enjoy your fir for a long time and have nothing against an extraordinary growth, you have found the perfect Christmas tree with the Nobilistanne ... "
