The Georg Schanze is a striking landmark in the north of Winterberg and will be used again regularly for international competitions after being rebuilt in 2000. In addition to the main hill, the complex also includes smaller plastic covered jumps on which it is also possible to practice in the summer. In the dark, the hill is beautifully illuminated.

Only when you are at the top, you realize that even a relatively small jump requires a lot of courage to ski down there - and jump off in time.

A nice tour that only loses its appeal in the last quarter because most of the time it's only over asphalt.

From the hill you have a great view of Winterberg and the Sauerland.
