Finally, in front of the packing department, we went to AT to refuel (30 cents cheaper 😀) and then to Erwald. The Ehrwalder Almbahn took a woman and a pram to the mountain station 🏔.The small Almsee tour is a really great way for families with small children. Many playgrounds, including a great water playground with a raft ride, as well as many great details such as wood carvings sweeten this little family tour 👍.This is the end of our wonderful 3-week holiday in Garmisch and it's back to home tomorrow 👋.

Shortly before the end of the vacation,
I went up to the Kramer peak at 1985m 😎 at 25 degrees.
The ascent to the Steppbergalm went so far without any problems, but the following ascent to the summit was very steep with a lot of scree, climbing and steel ropes.
But every effort was worth it, as the view was absolutely fantastic 🤩🌞.
The descent from the Kramerspitze over the ridge path and exposed paths on the back of the mountain to the Mittergernspitze was really tough. At the end there were again some stony climbing spots to the Mittergernspitze 😀.After a great all-round view, from now on it was only downhill on stony and bony serpentines through a lot of pine trees 🌲.On the way on the route I even saw a chamois on a scree field 🐐.Uphill as well as downhill it was almost 1250 m altitude each.An absolutely fantastic tour with a view rounds off this great holiday 🤩😎

Small excursion to Landsberg am Lech as a contrast program :).A small but fine historical town with a really great all-city and the impressive Lech weir.We had also made a short detour to the wildlife park, but only saw a camera-shy deer 😅.

Actually, these are pictures of two bike tours, once the 15km with father-in-law to the Eibsee and the day after it went for the first time with son in a child trailer across Garmisch and to Grainau to Badersee with 37 kmTherefore it was easy to cheat 😅.

I collected so many nice impressions today 🤩.
However, the Bernadeinsteig with its really nasty switchbacks at 28 degrees and blazing sun made me sweat a lot 😅.
The way past the Partnach was very nice. Unfortunately, I couldn't go through the gorge because half of it was closed due to flooding or a bridge was gone 🙄.
Outside with the Partnach in our luggage we went to the really beautiful Rhine Valley with the Bockhütte 🍴 😀.Strengthened it went over the Bernadeinsteig, which was really tough, the serpentines almost made me 😂. No wonder that I met almost no one on 4-5 km. After the ascent that didn't end, I was finally up and it went over normal rooted paths on the Bernadewand to the Kreuzeck mountain station.Today the route made me more exhausted than 25-30 km in Westphalia 😂

The tourist magnet par excellence in GAP and in Germany in general :).
On the Gletscheralm about 400m below the Zugspitze you had great views and it wasn't that crowded :).
The Zugspitze itself is unique. Two countries above (Austria - Germany) and over 400 peaks from 4 countries can be seen 😀👍.It's crazy how crowded it was up there 🙄.
The railings are sometimes not that high for my size, so I always stood about 30cm away from them 🥴.

After yesterday's mammoth hike, today it was again family and very relaxing in front of the absolutely fantastic alpine backdrop 🤩.With a buggy and crutches we walked the Eibsee circular route with 7 km.For my wife, this was the first real hike since the broken foot in mid-April and it was a strong performance with crutches. There are also many benches everywhere to take a breather and enjoy the view 😀.I don't have to report much about the Alpsee anymore, I just let the pictures speak for themselves. Only that much:
It is an incredible dream in nature with a unique panorama and surrounded by the Zugspitze 🤩💚

Today the weather was finally stable and I went up alone with the Kreuzeckbahn, where my actual hike started 🚠.From the Kreuzeck I first hiked up to the somewhat distant summit of the Längerfeldenkopf (1910m).
After the first great view, there was a short descent and the subsequent ascent to the Alpspitz with the summit and the “AlpspiX” viewing platform. There it was correspondingly full of cable car tourists 😀.
After a short rest, it went up to the Höllentorkopf (2100m) and from there on there was a murderous descent over the Rinderscharte.
After what felt like 2-3 hours the descent and the gravel path came to an end and I arrived at the Höllentallagerhütte at 1387m.
After a second break, we went through the beautiful Höllental with lots of water down to the Höllentalklamm.
Also a real spectacle with insane amounts of water and lots of wet clothes 😅.
From the gorge I followed the river down to Hammersbach, where I came back down after a total of 1453m descent.
Finally, it was 2km from Hammersbach via Feld & Wiesenwege back to the Kreuzeck valley station 😉.
A mad hike with so many impressions. From great and difficult climbs, small paths, waterfalls and great views, everything was really offered🤩.
      A hiker couldn't ask for more 😀

Since the weather today was only very mixed and only improved later in the day, we drove to the famous Linderhof Palace.A great park with many small streams and green meadows in the middle of the great alpine landscape presented this wonderful structure.A real highlight and can be recommended to everyone around here 👍.Early in the morning at 10 a.m. it was still reasonably manageable and there were no queues at the cash register like at lunchtime;)

After a visit to Ettal Abbey, we went to Mittenwald.
These two excursions could be carried out very well in continuous rain :)
Mittenwald is absolutely gorgeous even when it rains. These small streets with their hand-painted houses and colorful 🌺 are a feast for the eyes 🤩.
Many small handcraft shops and great places to stop for a break complete the offer :)
