Der Weg ist das Ziel 😃
After a longer break to build a house & 🤰 we went back to Green Paradise 💚. The 9.5 km was the absolute pain limit for my wife, but we still managed quite well, even if not the fastest 😅. But when hiking, the time is relative and we were not on the run.
The Dreiländersee and the adjacent Gildehausener Venn are really very nice to walk. The NSG Gildehausener Venn is really unique 👍. Unfortunately it was very cloudy and then a bit unsuitable for photos, but the main thing is to get out again :)@Jenny: had taken over the basic tour from you, thanks for the template😉

After we went to Pinolino to get a cot, we drove to the Rieselfelder. After weeks of construction, at least something out.
The photos are more or less light & shadow, as I took some photos from a few weeks ago with significantly more clouds ☁️, so to speak, two walks in one with very different lighting conditions.

Long planned and today it was that time again 😄.
With extremely hot temperature 😁, it went uphill and downhill over the beautiful Sauerland landscape towards Winterberg.
After three stages, it was definitely the most beautiful tour by far🤩.
Many very small paths and fantastic views followed by a stop in Winterberg rounded off the day👍.
With a bandana and 4.5L, the tour was still reasonably bearable in the extreme temperatures 😉.

After what felt like an eternity, I was finally able to transfer my tour from my Garmin watch to Komoot 🤪.
Due to a system failure, everything was there for a few days. Well in the end, it worked today.
Now to the Rothaarsteig and the 1 stage😀.
It was an absolutely fantastic tour in a small group, but it really challenged me😅.
Many small paths, fantastic views and, above all, decent gradients caused enthusiasm and exhaustion 😁.
The final hut schnitzel in Willingen with beer and wheat was, in view of the almost used 2000 kcal, too painful.

Small and spontaneous trip to Hiltrup😀's old home. Actually I only wanted to go to the Heidhorn Davert, but right behind the historic house of the same name is a fantastic learning path from NABU.
Here you can see many facets of nature. Everything explained very nicely and created sustainably. About biotopes for 🐝 & 🐸, bogs, wetlands, here everything is offered with explanatory boards. Various seating areas and a playground make this destination ideal for families👍.
The Davert and Hohe Ward are of course true natural beauties 💚.
Was a very varied & small hike with learning effecteff

Today I had planned the Rothaarsteig, or rather a stage 😀, which has been on my hiking agenda for a long time.
I got on with stage 3 because stage 1 & 2 are already planned in a small group at the end of July and beginning of August.
The regular route of stage 3 is 19KM, the rest is the way back to the car.
From Schmallenberg Grafschaft went ex-bus to Winterberg and then the fun in nature started.
This stage has some very nice corners and there is something to discover everywhere, e.g. the barefoot path in Langenwiese. The Rothaarsteig is in top condition, be it signage or the number of seats.
I'm really looking forward to stage 1 & 2, which are among the best stages E.

Yesterday we went in a small group with very nice people😊 from Capelle to Nordkirchen and back.
I was really surprised how much forest and greenery there is around Capelle👍.
Schloss Nordkirchen is always a highlight in itself with the great architecture 🏰.
The first part of the way to the castle was really nice 🌿🌳. The way back went through typical Münsterland field landscapes.

Today we went back to the Bergisch to Schwelm😉.
Nice and great tour, which starts right on the Wupper💦.
After that, it's almost only through the green 🌿 in the form of 🌳. Water lovers definitely won't miss out either. My highlight is the beautiful green valley with the former Herbringshausen dam and the same stream. Just fantastic.
Most of the way is characterized by narrow paths 🤩.
