The "Schlössle", which rises on a hill above the Lauter, is the jewel of Oberlenningen. It was built in the years 1593-1596 by Messrs. Schilling von Cannstatt and was a local aristocratic residence of the late Middle Ages. Today the community library is on the 1st floor and the "Museum for Paper and Book Art" on the 2nd floor.
