The Friedrichsfels is located on the west side of the Lenninger valley above the Lenninger district Unterlenningen and at the eastern slope of the bass violin part of the Albtraufs.
The view from the 744 m above sea level high head of the Friedrichsfels stretches from east northeast over east to south southeast. One overlooks the Lenninger valley from Unterlenningen to behind Oberlenningen. In addition, you have a beautiful view of the eastern boundary of the Lenninger valley from the yellow rock on the Teckberg over the saddle arch to the Wieland stones.
