Lake Otto-Maigler is a lake in the city of Hürth in the Rhein-Erft-Kreis, North Rhine-Westphalia. It originated after the brown coal mining in a planned open pit mine hole. At the lake there is a beautiful outdoor pool with a sandy beach. Rowing, surfing and swimming take place here by the lake. The lake can be completely circumnavigated or explored by bike.

This tour can not be done in the summer months, when there is bathing there. Then the operator demands parking fees on all parking lots.

Uschi Jansen is right. The parking spaces are chargeable. The trail around the lake can be used well.
