The Alte Post is the former main post office in the Berlin district of Neukölln. The former imperial post office, an elaborately designed monument, is one of the most striking buildings on Neukölln's Karl-Marx-Straße. Along with the town hall and the district court, it is one of the public buildings constructed shortly after Rixdorf was declared a town in 1899 and played a key role in the development of a town center on what is now Karl-Marx-Straße.
