Caroline Tübbecke was the wife of the cafe owner, fisherman and community representative Johann Julius Tübbecke. Tübbecke's coffee house was a popular place for excursions. Theodor Fontane created a literary monument to the restaurant and in particular to the landlady in "L' Adultera". The Tübbeckes had generously donated road land to the community. She is buried in the Alt-Stralau Cemetery.
