    Hiking

The best view over the fairytale Schönbrunn and the skyline of Vienna in the background. There is a café in the Gloriette itself, and the terrace on the roof can also be visited for an admission fee. But the view is also great from the ground floor.

So be sure to climb the hill and visit the Gloriette, built in 1775. More information is available at schoenbrunn.at/ueber-schoenbrunn/schlosspark/rundgang/gloriette.

The Gloriette is a wonderful vantage point above Schönbrunn Palace. It once served as an imperial breakfast room or ballroom. You can still experience something of this flair in the café-restaurant.
