The Auer-Welsbach-Park is a generous green space in the west of Vienna and a popular place for recreation, sports, and walks. Named after the Austrian chemist and inventor Carl Auer von Welsbach, the park combines extensive meadows, shady tree-lined avenues, and well-maintained paths to create a pleasant oasis in the middle of the city. Thanks to its quiet atmosphere, it is ideal for running and walking laps as well as for a short break in the green.
