Hiking
A Jewish community existed within the walls soon after the founding of the town of Gelnhausen. It was repeatedly subjected to persecution and was finally dissolved in 1938 during the National Socialist era. The life of the Jewish community in Gelnhausen can be traced today through the streets and buildings, such as the former synagogue. Here, too, numerous stumbling blocks were laid to commemorate.
