The 1972 Olympic Sportsmen's Quarter is now mainly a student residence. Especially popular: the former "Frauendorf" in the south with the many small row houses. In 2009, they were rebuilt on an old floor plan in a modernized form. Here you can live!

The Olympic Village in Munich was built for the XX Summer Olympics in 1972 to accommodate athletes and journalists. It was designed by the architectural firm Heinle, Wischer und Partner and, in 1998, was placed under ensemble protection along with the sports facilities in Olympiapark. Today, the 300-hectare area, with over 6000 residents in approximately 3500 housing units, is one of the most popular residential areas in Munich.
