The Lerchenauer See is one of the smallest and oldest bathing lakes in the north of Munich. It is located in the vicinity of the Fasanerie See, close to a densely populated residential area. In summer, many Munich residents seek relaxation on the beautiful lawns around the entire Lerchenauer See. A large playground offers plenty of variety for younger visitors. A restaurant directly on the lake provides for physical well-being. Barbecues are also permitted in certain barbecue areas.

Unfortunately, the beer garden was dismantled because a hotel with a beer garden for Oktoberfest restaurateur Abele vom Marstall is planned in the same place. No kiosk but a penny market at the north western end of the lake.
