The "Fresh Brünnchen", also called "Nonnepütz", is a natural spring in the Rheinbach Forest. The spring was built over with a structure made of natural stones, which is open on one side. The water of the spring rising to the surface runs below this opening through a small pipe into a ditch and finally into the nearby Schlebach. Very nice place in the forest to have a picnic. This silence is wonderful, only interrupted by the chirping of the birds.

At this point, I'd like to quickly say something about the spring (where it's in keeping with the art of poetry if this 'spring' is a 'fountain'):
And specifically, I'd like to quote the incomparable humorist Heinz Erhardt (1909–1979), who was known to a wide audience for his wit and "Another Poem," with a short quatrain:
"There's certainly a lot of beauty in the element, the wet.
Because you can drink the water.
But you can also leave it alone."
        (H. Erhardt)
