"St. Aegidius, the Catholic parish church of Obertiefenbach, was completed in 1888 according to the design by the architect Max Meckel in the neo-Gothic style. Its previous building from 1733 had been demolished. The church tower, whose tower stem dates from the second half of the 12th century, was preserved A low wall with forged bars surrounds parts of the church. Baroque grave crosses made of Lahn marble can be found in the churchyard. Inside there is also a baptismal font made of Lahn marble. "
