The Roman Catholic pilgrimage chapel in Beselich was consecrated on September 8, 1767 and is dedicated to the "Fourteen Holy Helpers".
In 1763, the Franciscan brother Leonhard, Geotg Niederstraßen, settled as a hermit in his self-built house near the Franciscan monastery.
In 1764, Pastor Johannes Schuld from Obertiefenbach built the chapel.
It belongs to the parish of St. Johannes Nepumuk Hadamar.
