At Unshausen, the cycle path plus road was closed and you had to take a small detour over the main road, as there was no detour. A lovely woman let us drive into her garden and across her orchard to bypass the blockade. That was super nice, but logo not usus. The mountain in front of Homberg dragged itself badly, but I managed my home and parents well, thanks to my son and husband with tandem and gravel bike company. Well tired but very happy! A great, even super sunny day.

Unfortunately, the cell phone's battery only lasted as far as Wormeln and so I went right up through the fields in the direction of Gut Calenberg
Unfortunately, the beautiful sunset and the view over the Warburger Land can only be made with another cell phone of my husband, where the picture quality is very poor. At Gut Calenberg we drove up the mountain on the road to Wettesingen and were lit by the evening sun and then welcomed home by the almost round moon. A nice, but for me very exhausting day. For me, in terms of physical fitness, on the mountain near Neu Berich up over it towards the Twistesee dam wall and camper stand, the furnace was almost out of energy and the fibromyalgia and polyneuropathy took off and I whistled on the last hole. Weak day. At the Twistesee but strengthened at the snack bar, lingered at the lake, it was even easier to get home pedaling. The bike path below the Kugelsburg to Camper Platz is new but very nice to drive on. The cycle path between Volkmarsen and Welda, partly new, wonderfully separated from the road by bushes and a geaben, then leads on the wonderful Welda-Wormeln cycle path under old trees along the river. A pleasure! See you soon, C.

The best weather, the best company, beautiful scenery and a nice break with delicious food and drinks. What more do you want? A nice bike day with my wife and our dogs.

My rainy weather app said not to expect wet weather until 2pm. Actually, I wanted to extend the small border tour as a home tour, but because of strong thunderstorms coming from Ruchtung Warburg, I had better orientated myself after Gut Calenberg towards North Hesse, because it was my first tour that I dared alone. It was a good thing, because when I got home in Wettesingen, it was already a bit fussed and I can now hear the thunderstorm rumbling here as well. Everything that comes over from East Westphalia in the form of dark clouds is usually dumped properly here as well. Nature will thank me for the much too short time of sunshine if it does not rain down on the dry clay soils. Then we have a reservoir here in the depression. ;) It may not always turn out like that, please! It was wonderful. Tip for tricycles and therapy bikes: Between Calenberg and Wettesingen there are two small sections that are not tarred and it bumps badly on the sometimes coarse gravel and holes. But it drove slowly and attentively, still very easy to drive on. The rest of the route crosses bike paths and accompanies them and is therefore good wide and tarred. Have fun cycling! C.

Hello Claudia, what a beautiful one with pictures, really great. I have a severely handicapped ID with a wheelchair sign, and I got permission from the Hagenbeck Tierpark in Hamburg to drive through at walking speed with my companion as well.

The round bench around the tree made of chairs in Waldernbach in the Bio Logisch organic shop with outdoor café was really well done. 👍🏾.
