The short tour of the Sendero 19 leads from the Mirador Base del Teide viewpoint with a gentle gradient through the Cañada Blanca to the Parador. The path runs past Montaña Majúa, always along the foothills of the lava fields of Montaña Blanca through the gorse bush vegetation of the caldera. On the way you have a great view of the Guajara opposite, the third highest mountain in the national park.
