Made a little tour in the Parsberg area. With the e-mountain bike over hill and dale, up and down 😃😝

If you are out on a Sunday, you should get up a little earlier, because it is just wonderful here because there is no hustle and bustle. Children can let off steam here and for nature purists, the route runs over a beautiful landscape where you only meet very few people. Good shoes with a good profile are a must 😉

If you come from outside, you can easily park your car here at the Naab. The route starts in Dachelhofen and leads along the Naab, past the barrage of the former Bayernwerk coal-fired power plant. Continue to Klardorf where you cycle along the bike path towards Steinberger See (former lignite opencast mine) along the lake to Knappensee and back towards Schwandorf where the path still leads past Klausensee, towards the biogas plant (former Bayernwerk site) and you're back on Starting point. Next to it is the waterworks that supplies the Nabaltec company and the waste incineration plant with water.
Well-tired trekking or mountain bikes should be used for the route because there are a lot of gravel paths.

Nice and quiet here, but I wouldn't go there on Sundays, everyone is out and about. For the trip on the canal, you should use well-tired trekking or mountain bikes because of the gravel. We will definitely take a tour along the canal to Neumarkt.

If you are planning a round trip here, you will also find plenty of opportunities to stop off. We drank our electrolytes shortly before Beilngries in the Plankenstetten monastery beer garden. If you do not ride an e-bike, you should expect that there are a few appealing uphills on the route. In places, the route is not so well signposted. But the way is the goal🙂

Demanding hike in the pure nature. Good footwear is definitely a must. Especially when it rained, the ground is very soft in places.
